Yerevan’s Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center has published the results of atmospheric air quality monitoring for the period from November 26 to December 2, 2025. According to the report, dust concentrations in several parts of the city exceeded the maximum allowable limits.
Specifically, elevated dust levels were recorded:
- In the city center: throughout the entire week,
- In Arabkir district: from November 26 to 30, and also on December 1,
- In Shengavit: on November 26 and 28, as well as December 1.
- In Nor Nork district, dust concentrations remained within permissible norms.
Additionally, increased nitrogen dioxide levels were observed:
- In the city center: on December 1 and 2,
- In Arabkir: on November 27 and 28,
- In Shengavit: on November 26 and December 2,
- In Nor Nork: on December 1.
However, testing showed that sulfur dioxide levels across all districts remained below the maximum allowable concentration during the monitoring period.
