Armenia’s national boxing team has returned to Yerevan with a historic accomplishment, the Boxing Federation of Armenia reports.
“For the first time ever, our team has brought home five medals from the World Championship,” the federation said in a statement.
The bronze medalists are Rudolf Garboyan, Artur Bazeyan, Hovhannes Bachkov, Rafael Hovhannisyan, and Davit Chaloyan.
Armenia ranked 8th overall among teams from 108 countries.
