Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, referring to the meeting between Ararat Mirzoyan and Marco Rubio in Washington and the adopted document, emphasized its significance for institutionalizing peace and implementing the TRIPP project.
“Yesterday, in the capital of the United States, Washington, another important step was taken toward institutionalizing peace and the practical implementation of the TRIPP project, and I congratulate us all on this occasion.
At 10 a.m., Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will deliver remarks. I and our other colleagues will also have opportunities to comment,” Pashinyan wrote on Facebook.
On January 13, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Following the meeting, the Armenian Foreign Ministry published the statement confirming Armenia-U.S. cooperation under the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative. The document outlines TRIPP’s implementation process and does not and is not intended to create legal obligations for either Armenia or the United States.
