Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has praised the Armenian army’s new uniform, describing it on Facebook as “beautiful, functional, comfortable, and suitable for all seasons.”
He also shared a video from the Ministry of Defense, in which Defense Minister Suren Papikyan presents several variants of the new field uniform tailored for different weather conditions.
Earlier reports indicated that the Ministry of Defense has not yet completed the full procurement of the new uniforms. A current contract with a U.S.-based company covers prototype supply, technical specifications, and pattern designs for final approval. Discussions around developing a new army uniform have been ongoing for several years.
