According to News.am , a court has approved the pre-trial detention of two senior operative officers from Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC). The Anti-Corruption Committee reported that the officials are accused of accepting a particularly large bribe of 9 million AMD from a businessperson in return for an illegal favor.
They were apprehended by the Anti-Corruption Committee immediately after committing the alleged offense, during covert investigative and operative-search measures.
