The Armenian government has announced that beginning April 1, 2026, all state payments, including pensions and childbirth-related benefits, will be made exclusively through cashless transactions.
Additionally, as of January 1, 2026, pensioners and benefit recipients will receive up to 20% cashback on cashless transactions, up from the current 12%.
