Armenia has significantly increased its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports in recent years.
According to the State Revenue Committee, the country imported 283,742 tons of LPG in 2025, up from 90,257 tons in 2022, Radar Armenia reports.
LPG was mainly imported from Russia and Iran, but also from Iraq, the UAE, Georgia, China, Liechtenstein, Germany, and Poland.
In 2022, Armenia imported 90,257 tons of LPG, including 81,503 tons from Russia and 8,350 tons from Iran.
In 2023, imports rose to 143,758 tons: 138,116 tons from Russia and 4,757 tons from Iran.
In 2024, the figure reached 218,865 tons, with 210,087 tons coming from Russia and 8,102 tons from Iran.
By 2025, imports climbed to 283,742 tons—268,457 tons from Russia and 12,125 tons from Iran.
