The Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center has published air quality data for Yerevan covering January 20–26, revealing that dust levels exceeded permissible limits in four administrative districts.
According to the report:
- In Kentron district, dust concentrations surpassed acceptable levels from January 20–23, and again on the 25th.
- In Nor Nork, on January 20.
- In Arabkir, on January 23.
- In Shengavit, on January 21.
Nitrogen dioxide levels also exceeded the threshold on certain days:
- In Nor Nork: January 21, 22, and 26.
- In Kentron, Arabkir, and Shengavit, nitrogen dioxide remained within permissible limits.
Sulfur dioxide concentrations were within acceptable norms across all monitored areas.
