Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan met with Kristin Weigand, head of UNICEF’s Armenia office, on the occasion of her mission’s completion. He praised the productive collaboration in promoting children's rights.
The two highlighted the importance of ensuring continuity in the programs defined in the 2026–2030 cooperation framework between Armenia and the United Nations Children’s Fund.
Abisoghomonyan commended the close partnership between the Armenian government and UNICEF’s Armenia office, noting Weigand’s key role in the country’s progress on child protection. He expressed gratitude for UNICEF’s active work in Armenia and wished her continued success in future endeavors.
