A meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has begun in Abu Dhabi, according to the spokesperson for the Armenian PM, Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
Pashinyan is in the United Arab Emirates on a working visit, accompanied by his wife, Anna Hakobyan.
On February 4, he is set to receive the 2026 Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, an honor that has also been awarded to Aliyev.
Pashinyan has been recognized as a 2026 laureate of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity for his consistent promotion of a peace agenda between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as for advancing regional cooperation and stability.
