The meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has concluded in Abu Dhabi.
The one-on-one meeting followed an expanded-format discussion involving both delegations. Representing Armenia were Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, Armenpress reports.
On the Azerbaijani side, the participants included Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Foreign Policy Advisor to the President Hikmet Hajiyev, and Special Presidential Representative Elchin Amirbayov.
Both Pashinyan and Aliyev arrived in the United Arab Emirates on February 4 to receive the 2026 Zayed Award for Human Fraternity.
Prime Minister Pashinyan was awarded the 2026 Zayed Prize in recognition of his role in promoting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and advancing regional cooperation and stability.
