One of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan’s lawyers, Hovhannes Khudoyan, filed a motion with the court requesting that Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan, Investigative Committee Chairman Artur Poghosyan, MP Garnik Danielyan, and Hovhannes Avetisyan be summoned as witnesses.
According to Factor.am , Vardapetyan and Poghosyan gave media interviews after the arrests of the defendants, and the defense now seeks to question them about their public statements.
As for Danielyan and Avetisyan, Khudoyan argued that they may possess key information relevant to the case.
Following the launch of the criminal case, the Investigative Committee released audio recordings, including the now-famous “shoot them” conversation between Archbishop Bagrat and Hovhannes Avetisyan.
