Armenia will allocate 948 million drams from the 2026 state budget to local administrations to co-finance subsidy programs.
From the 2026 budget, 948 million drams will be allocated to the staffs of local governors for co-financing subsidy programs in order to meet financial obligations incurred toward construction companies. The draft was presented by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan.
“It is planned to co-finance 18 subsidy programs in 16 communities. This is the first co-financing from the state budget portion of this year’s state co-financing program,” he said, according to 1lurer.am .
The minister also outlined the areas to which the subsidy funds will be directed.
The financial obligations concern the construction of roadside curbs in various communities, paving of streets with tuff stone slabs, construction of sewage networks, installation of drinking water pipelines, asphalt paving of streets, construction of a kindergarten and a municipal cemetery, repair of sidewalks, renovation of a stadium and other works.
