Armenia’s national ice hockey team played two friendly matches against a Czech team over the weekend and won both encounters.
The first match took place on February 21 at Friendship Park in Gyumri and ended with an 11:8 victory for the Armenian players. The following day, the teams also faced off in Yerevan, where Armenia again prevailed, this time with a 10:4 scoreline, Factor.am reports.
Ahead of the game in Gyumri, organizers presented an extensive cultural program. The event was held with the support of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Armenia.
