A 2.2 magnitude earthquake struck 10 km southeast of Masis at 05:33 local time on February 24, authorities said.
According to Armenia's Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service, the Seismic Protection Territorial Service’s seismological network recorded the earthquake at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone was measured at magnitude 2-3.
The earthquake was felt in the city of Masis, as well as in the villages of Mkhchyan and Dvin, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
The tremors were recorded at geographic coordinates 40.02⁰ north latitude and 44.54⁰ east longitude.
