ANC to run alone if no alliance formed

The Armenian National Congress continues negotiations with political forces to form a pre-election alliance, but if no agreement is reached, the party will run independently, ANC Deputy Chairman Levon Zurabyan said, according to Pastinfo.

“Of course, struggle, struggle to the end,” he said.

He added that he has no new information suitable for publication regarding the progress of the talks, emphasizing that the process is ongoing.

Asked which provisions have prevented the sides from reaching common ground, Zurabyan said there are no details that can be made public on that issue either.

Responding to a remark about the potential risk of vote fragmentation if the party runs alone, he said: “I consider that a pointless discussion.”

In the 2021 elections, the ANC received 19,961 votes, accounting for 1.54 percent of the total.
