Tusk highlights expanding cooperation with Armenia

During an official visit to Poland, Nikol Pashinyan and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk discussed a range of issues related to the development of multi-sector cooperation between Armenia and Poland.

Tusk emphasized expanding cooperation with Armenia, particularly in the fields of economy, infrastructure, security, education, and science, expressing confidence that Pashinyan’s visit would give new momentum to bilateral relations in all directions.

He also underlined the Polish government’s interest in strengthening and deepening interaction with Armenia, including in Poland’s capacity as a member state of the European Union.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked his counterpart for the warm reception and stressed the importance of the continued development of multifaceted cooperation with Poland. He highly appreciated Poland’s support for institutional reforms in Armenia and expressed hope that such assistance would continue.

In the context of expanding trade and economic ties, Pashinyan highlighted the importance of promoting economic cooperation. He also emphasized Poland’s role in advancing Armenia–EU relations.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to the implementation of joint projects. They also addressed the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the progress of the TRIPP initiative, and further development of Armenia–EU cooperation.

During his visit, Pashinyan also met with foreign ambassadors, diplomats and representatives of analytical centers at the Polish Institute of International Affairs, where he delivered a speech and spoke about the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
