Armenia’s Foreign Ministry is holding consultations with relevant airlines, including FlyOne, FlyDubai, Air Arabia, Qatar Airways, and Jazeera Airways, to explore possible flight options and potential support for their organization.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan announced this on her Facebook page in response to a question about steps taken to return Armenian citizens to Armenia following the cancellation of flights, including transit routes, through Middle Eastern countries.
It was noted that discussions are also underway with partners in the relevant countries to facilitate necessary procedures. A needs assessment has been conducted.
Badalyan also said that Armenia’s diplomatic missions and consular offices in Middle Eastern countries, as well as in Iran and Israel, continue to operate in a 24-hour emergency mode. The same status has been introduced in countries from which Armenian citizens plan to return via transit flights.

The Yerevan Municipality, taking into account rising tensions in the region, has decided to return the Yerevan youth orchestra currently in Beirut to Armenia earlier than planned. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced this on his Facebook page.
“The orchestra was performing as part of the Al Bustan International Music Festival. Our orchestra delivered very impressive performances together with international stars. However, given the tense situation in the region, we have decided to bring our children, our orchestra, back to Yerevan significantly ahead of schedule. We are in intensive contact with our ambassador in Lebanon and the Lebanese national carrier to organize the flight much earlier than planned,” Avinyan said.
He assured that the Yerevan Municipality’s Department of Culture is in constant contact with the parents.
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the United States has launched a large-scale operation against Iran. Trump stated that the U.S. will not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons and that this remains unchanged U.S. policy.
Israel, for its part, has carried out a preventive strike against Iran “to neutralize the threat,” the country’s Defense Minister Israel Katz said. He also declared a state of emergency throughout the country. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is conducting retaliatory strikes against U.S. military facilities in the Middle East.
