FlyOne Armenia will operate a special flight from Muscat to Yerevan on March 3, the airline said on its Facebook page.
Tickets are available through FlyOne’s official mobile application and on the company’s official website.
According to the mobile app, ticket prices for the March 3 Muscat-Yerevan flight start at 1,049 euros with a backpack included. For example, adding 25 kg of baggage increases the fare by another 65 euros, Sputnik Armenia reports.
The mobile application also lists another flight on March 4, with ticket prices starting at 899 euros.
It is not yet known who will pay for the tickets — the passengers themselves or whether the Armenian government will provide support.
Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said discussions were underway with several airlines — FlyOne, FlyDubai, Air Arabia and Qatar Airways — to organize possible flights. At the same time, Armenian embassies in Iran, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Lebanon continue to maintain contact with citizens.
So far, there have been no reports of Armenian citizens among the victims.
On February 28, Israel and the U.S. carried out airstrikes against Iran, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran responded with strikes toward Israel and Persian Gulf countries hosting U.S. military bases.
