First evacuation flight from Oman lands in Yerevan

The first evacuation flight organized from Oman has landed in Yerevan, the Civil Aviation Committee reported.

An aircraft operated by FlyOne Armenia transported citizens from Muscat who had remained in Iran and neighboring countries due to military operations, Aysor.am reports.

Amid the emergency situation, FlyOne Armenia had earlier announced that it would operate a special flight to organize the return of citizens.

Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said discussions were underway with several airlines — FlyOne, FlyDubai, Air Arabia and Qatar Airways — to arrange possible flights. At the same time, Armenian embassies in Iran, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Lebanon continue to maintain contact with citizens.
