Henrik Abrahamyan, the brother of Armenia’s former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and a former member of parliament, has been summoned to the Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office.
He has been invited to appear on March 9 at 14:30 at the department handling cases on the confiscation of property of illegal origin.
According to Auroranews.am, he is expected to present his position and complete a declaration regarding the legality of assets registered in his name as part of the ongoing review.
Within the same investigation, Henrik Abrahamyan’s wife, Ruzanna Hovsepyan, their son Hovhannes Abrahamyan, and several other related individuals have also been summoned to the prosecutor’s office.
Earlier it was reported that Rebecca Abrahamyan, the daughter of former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, her husband Vladimir Tamrazyan, and several other members of the family had also been summoned to the Prosecutor General’s Office’s department for confiscation of illicit assets. They were required to appear on February 25.
