Another batch of Russian grain sent to Armenia

Another batch of Russian wheat will be sent to Armenia via Azerbaijan. On March 11, 1,023 tons of grain will be delivered to Armenia, Haqqin.az reports.

The shipment consists of 11 rail wagons.

On March 8, seven wagons loaded with Russian wheat were sent to Armenia.

In November 2025, Russian wheat was transported to Armenia via Azerbaijan for the first time in 35 years. Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk described it as symbolic that the first cargo delivered along that route was Russian wheat, calling it a main symbol of life and creation.

Shipments of Kazakh wheat have also reached Armenia through the same route.
