Wrestler Lyovik Mikaelyan won a gold medal at the U23 European Freestyle Wrestling Championships taking place in Zrenjanin, Serbia, the Armenian Wrestling Federation reported.
In the final, he defeated Azerbaijani wrestler Jeyhun Allahverdiyev with a score of 2–1.
Armenian wrestlers also secured bronze medals through Arman Harutyunyan (57 kg), Davit Margaryan (70 kg) and Khachatur Khachatryan (125 kg).
