The European People’s Party (EPP) is ready to continue discussing issues related to Armenia and the region, as the country is viewed as part of Europe, EPP President Manfred Weber said during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“It is a great honor for us to be here. We appreciate your contribution to the development of Armenia–EU relations,” Weber said, according to Armenpress.
Pashinyan, for his part, emphasized the importance of the EPP’s mission and said that the two sides are essentially carrying out the same work.
“Armenia needs this,” Pashinyan said.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Strasbourg, where he delivered a speech at the European Parliament.
