Artsakh State Minister Facebook page hacked

The Facebook page of Artsakh State Minister Nzhdeh Iskandaryan was hacked and a video message removed, lawyer Roman Yeritsyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“The Facebook page of Artsakh State Minister Nzhdeh Iskandaryan was hacked and a video address was removed.

I confidently state that neither the state minister nor Artsakhbank CJSC has any connection to the removal of the video.

At the same time, I inform you that active steps are currently being taken, including meetings in various formats, aimed at providing legal solutions to the issues raised by people from Artsakh. We already have a legal path for resolving the matter, but it is still premature to announce it.

For its part, representatives of Artsakhbank CJSC have expressed their readiness to provide full and unconditional support to this process.

Representatives of Artsakhbank have assured that they stand alongside the people of Artsakh.

We hope that soon all of you will be able to see this for yourselves,” the post said.

On September 19, 2023, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack against Artsakh, subjecting the territory to massive artillery shelling. One day later, on September 20, the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh accepted the proposal of the command of the Russian peacekeeping mission to cease fire, agreeing to Baku’s conditions, including the disarmament of the Defense Army and the dissolution of the Republic of Artsakh.

As a result of the attack, 223 people were killed, including 20 civilians, six of whom were minors. Starting from September 24, the forced displacement of Artsakh Armenians began, and more than 100,000 people were forced to flee to Armenia. According to some reports, around 20 Armenians remained in Artsakh, of whom 11 later returned to Armenia, one died and one was detained.
