Armenian envoy meets U.S. Congressional Caucus members

Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan held meetings on March 18 and 19 with representatives of the Congressional Armenian Caucus, addressing the bilateral agenda.

He met with the Caucus co-chairs Frank Pallone and Gus Bilirakis, as well as members Seth Magaziner and Jim Costa, the Armenian Embassy in the U.S. reported.

“During the meetings, the ambassador expressed gratitude to the Caucus members for their longstanding support aimed at strengthening Armenia–U.S. bilateral relations. Opportunities for further deepening cooperation and implementing new joint initiatives were discussed,” the statement said.

The Congressional Armenian Caucus is a group of more than 100 members of the U.S. Congress focused on keeping lawmakers engaged on issues related to Armenia and strengthening U.S.–Armenia relations.
