After Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the greatest damage to Armenia’s political life has been caused by the propaganda team of former President Robert Kocharyan, said Armen Ashotyan, vice chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, commenting on reactions to his previous post.
“Some actors were looking for themselves between the lines of my words, although my lines were not about them, but about opposition political camps preparing for elections.
And some of the real addressees, instead of taking a breath, are trying to throw a few bags of their expired poison toward the Republican Party.
If you ask who has caused the greatest damage to Armenia’s political life after Nikol, then in a stable second place is the propaganda team of the second president.
Guys, you may have bad relations with one camp, with another, and with yet another.
But when it turns out that you have conflicts with almost all actors and forces in the opposition field, then it is obvious that the problem is within you. The problem is you.
And until you honestly admit this to yourselves and try to find solutions, you will continue to play a destructive and toxic role in Armenia’s political life, poisoning the environment and yourselves.
I have not forgotten your distortions about the Republican Party, the third president, my friends, and myself.
And I assure you, the time will come to answer for all of this, especially for the one who manages the toxic glands of anti-propaganda from Moscow to Yerevan.
The time to gather stones has not yet come, but why do you continue throwing stones, especially when you yourselves are under a glass roof,” Ashotyan wrote.
In a previous post, Ashotyan wrote: “This is not the time for cockfights. Explain to your teammates that petty internal opposition quarrels driven by self-assertion are unacceptable. Armenia is enslaved, and the rules of public uprising require at least respect and not striking potential allies from behind. There is one tyrant, his name is Nikol. Everything else is secondary.”
