Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Marijn van Rij, during a meeting in Yerevan, emphasized the importance of approving a new reserve program with the IMF and ensuring its full implementation.
At the beginning of the meeting, Grigoryan expressed gratitude to the IMF for long-standing constructive cooperation, noting that it is linked to nearly all key reforms carried out in the country.
The discussion also touched upon regional developments and the Crossroads of Peace initiative.
The interlocutors also addressed government priorities in the energy sector, exchanging views on developments in that area.
