Armenia’s authorities have denied media reports about a possible merger of the Labor and Social Affairs Ministry with the Health Ministry.
The issue of merging the Ministries of Labor and Social Affairs and Health is not under discussion, said Nver Kostanyan, press secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, rejecting information circulated in the media.
“One of the media outlets has once again circulated false information that does not correspond to reality, claiming that discussions are currently underway regarding the merger of the Ministries of Labor and Social Affairs and Health.
Not content with publishing entirely false information, the authors of the material have begun weaving conspiracies around their fabricated ‘news’ and speaking about alleged ‘discontent’ over a non-existent project.
Dear colleagues, a project on merging the ministries has never been circulated over the past eight years and is not being discussed now. I urge you to stop speculating on this topic once and for all,” Kostanyan wrote.
