April 2 marks the 10th anniversary of the April Four-Day War, yet the Armenian government did not honor the memory of the fallen during its session.
Despite the significance of the day, today’s government meeting began without a moment of silence for the victims, Factor.am reports.
More than one hundred Armenian servicemen were killed as a result of the military actions that began on these days in 2016.
During the night of April 1–2, Azerbaijani forces launched large-scale offensive operations against the Republic of Artsakh, using nearly all types of military equipment in their arsenal. A ceasefire was established on April 5, halting the hostilities. As a result of the April battles, the Armenian side lost 800 hectares of territory.
