The Strong Armenia party has published its pre-election candidate list following its congress.
The list is headed by Narek Karapetyan, the nephew of party leader Samvel Karapetyan. He is followed by lawyers Aram Vardevanyan and Gohar Meloyan. The fourth position is held by Davit Ghazinyan, former acting CEO of Electric Networks of Armenia.

Regular parliamentary elections will take place on June 7.
The Strong Armenia party will participate in the upcoming elections as part of an alliance. The Prosperous Armenia Party, led by Gagik Tsarukyan and his “Proposal to Armenia” program, has also announced participation. Armenia’s second president, Robert Kocharyan, former Yerevan mayor Hayk Marutyan with his New Force party, as well as the Armenian National Congress (ANC), whose prime ministerial candidate is Levon Zurabyan, and the Republic party led by Aram Sargsyan, will also take part.
The Hayakve and Wings of Unity groups will participate jointly. The ruling Civil Contract party has nominated Nikol Pashinyan as its candidate for prime minister.
