A magnitude 3.3 earthquake was recorded near the Armenia–Georgia border on April 9 at 22:44 local time (18:44 GMT), according to the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The epicenter was located 17 km northeast of Bavra village, at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the tremors in the epicentral zone reached 4–5 points.
The quake was felt in Shirak Province, in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi and Ashotk, as well as in Lori Province, in the settlements of Paghaghbyur and Noramut, with an intensity of around 3 points.
The tremors were recorded at coordinates 41.17° north latitude and 44.00° east longitude.
