Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met on April 16 with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Armenia, Daphne Maree, according to the council’s office.
The parties discussed details of programs implemented as part of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on future activities between Armenia and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Grigoryan expressed gratitude to Maree for the ICRC’s continued support in addressing humanitarian issues in Armenia.
The ICRC had been the only organization able to visit Armenian detainees held in Baku, but following the suspension of its activities in Azerbaijan, such access is no longer available.
