A new direct route between Yerevan and Burgas will begin on June 4, operating once a week and aimed at enhancing bilateral connectivity.
The Armenian Embassy in Bulgaria announced the launch of the Yerevan–Burgas direct flight.
The initiative was unveiled during the EuroBridge 2026 exhibition forum held in Burgas, Bulgaria.
Electra Airways will operate the route with flights scheduled every Thursday.
The connection is expected to support tourism growth while strengthening commercial relations by providing a quicker and more accessible travel option between the two countries.
Participants of the forum highlighted its strategic value, particularly in positioning Burgas as an entry point to the European Union market for Armenian producers.
Organizers noted that the project has eased logistical barriers related to cargo transportation and investment cooperation, improving overall efficiency and accessibility.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian Embassy in Bulgaria, and the Armenian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
