Armenia’s Gor Sahakyan (71 kg) has won a silver medal at the European Weightlifting Championships taking place in Batumi, Georgia.
He recorded a total of 330 kg in the combined event (150+180), the Armenian Weightlifting Federation reports.
In the snatch, Sahakyan lifted 146 kg and 150 kg, finishing first in this discipline. In the clean and jerk, he lifted 180 kg, placing third in that event.
Earlier, Alexandra Grigoryan (58 kg) and Garnik Cholakyan (60 kg) had also won silver medals.
