The Strong Armenia alliance and the Hayakve civic movement have signed a cooperation memorandum, Hayakve reported.
During the meeting, in the presence of Strong Armenia party chairman Samvel Karapetyan, Strong Armenia alliance coordinator-representative Narek Karapetyan and Hayakve national civic union coordinator Avetik Chalabyan signed the memorandum. Under the document, the parties committed to joining efforts to achieve the removal of the current government and the formation of a new national authority through the June 7, 2026 National Assembly elections.
To this end, the Strong Armenia alliance of parties and the Hayakve movement agreed to jointly conduct the pre-election campaign, based on the maximum alignment of their political programs, as well as to jointly monitor the legality of the electoral process.
Representatives of the leadership of the Strong Armenia alliance and the Aprilu Yerkir party also attended the meeting.
In February, Hayakve had signed a memorandum with the Wings of Unity political initiative to participate in the elections as a unified front. However, on April 10 it became known that they had decided to terminate that cooperation.
