As of April 29, the level of Lake Sevan stood at 1900.37 meters, which is 16 cm lower than the 1900.53 meters recorded on the same day last year, according to Armenia’s Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center under the Environment Ministry.
By April 28, a total of 35.028 million cubic meters of water had been transferred to the lake via the Arpa–Sevan tunnel. At the same time, no water had been released from the lake through the canal of the Hrazdan Hydropower Plant.
At the beginning of 2026, the lake’s level stood at 1900.22 meters. The water level began rising in February.
