Yerevan Dialogue forum to tackle global issues

The Yerevan Dialogue international forum will take place in Yerevan on May 5, bringing together discussions on a wide range of global and regional issues, from artificial intelligence and democratic resilience to energy security and the economic outlook of the South Caucasus.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron are among the key speakers expected to address the forum.

Panel discussions will focus on peace and security challenges in the South Caucasus, as well as the region’s role in global economic and logistics processes, according to 1lurer.am .

Participants will also examine Armenia’s potential to serve as a connectivity hub between Europe and Central Asia, alongside discussions on the region’s economic and investment potential, including critical raw materials, semiconductors, and technological sectors.

The agenda includes sessions on democratic resilience, hybrid threats, and the impact of artificial intelligence on electoral processes, analyzing how new technologies influence the information environment, public trust, and voter behavior.

Additional topics will cover strategic autonomy in the Asia-Pacific region, countries’ strategic choices in a multipolar world, regulation of artificial intelligence, technological sovereignty, and financing the transition to green energy.

The forum will also address new approaches to regional security and the role of cooperation amid changes in the international system.

Experts and representatives of international organizations are expected to participate in the “Yerevan Dialogue” forum to discuss global challenges and prospects for regional cooperation.
