Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Armenia is a country with unlimited energy resources, speaking at the opening of the 3rd “Yerevan Dialogue” international forum.
“In our reality, it was commonly believed that Armenia had no energy resources, and that was true. This reflected the country’s vulnerabilities in energy and other areas. But I want to say that although nothing has changed in Armenia’s physical parameters, today Armenia is a country with unlimited energy resources,” Pashinyan said, according to 1lurer.am .
He emphasized that in modern conditions, a country’s geographic perception can change without physical alterations.
“This is one of the most interesting aspects of our time: a country may remain in the same geographic coordinates, yet its position can change. A country can transform from having no energy resources to possessing unlimited energy potential.
No, I am not revealing any secret—no oil or gas fields have been discovered in Armenia. But like many countries, Armenia has unlimited potential due to the development of solar energy, and our task in the coming period is to focus on utilizing this emerging potential, including in the energy sector,” he said.
