Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Tristan Oghon, director of the Analysis, Planning and Strategy Center at France’s Foreign Ministry, stressed during a meeting in Yerevan the importance of signing the joint declaration “On establishing a strategic partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the French Republic.”
The sides also expressed confidence that Armenia-France relations would develop with renewed intensity, covering all possible areas of cooperation.
The officials noted with satisfaction that French President Emmanuel Macron’s state visit to Armenia was held at a very high level, reflecting the strength of bilateral relations and the centuries-old friendship between the two countries.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed the implementation of previously reached agreements and reaffirmed their commitment to consistently advancing them.
