Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received a team from the American company AECOM that arrived in Armenia as part of a delegation from the U.S. State Department’s Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment initiative. The team is in the country to launch site assessment work for the TRIPP project.
During the meeting, AECOM representatives presented the deputy prime minister with the main directions and expected outcomes of the planned feasibility assessment work.
Grigoryan emphasized the importance of the ongoing processes, highlighting the significance of TRIPP for strengthening peace and stability in the region. He also referred to the possibilities for unblocking regional communications, stressing Armenia’s significant potential for the transit of cargo and resources through its territory.
A day earlier, Grigoryan had also received a delegation from the United States. The sides discussed and agreed on a number of operational and legal issues related to the implementation of TRIPP.
