The Against Everyone party will pass the electoral threshold and hold negotiations with other political forces, party prime ministerial candidate Nina Karapetyants said during a campaign event in Ajapnyak. The party believes that none of the political forces participating in the June 7 elections will secure a stable majority.
Against Everyone is proposing a 100-day transitional government followed by new elections, Sputnik Armenia reported.
“We are not engaging in political bargaining; we are coming with a concrete program. Our prime ministerial candidate will implement our planned reforms within 100 days: lowering the electoral threshold to 1% so that fresh political forces can enter the field, because it is impossible to create anything new with the old forces that already have their fixed electorate. The stable majority provision must be removed because it creates serious problems. The Against Everyone ballot option should also be added so people participate in elections and express their will,” Nina Karapetyants said.
According to Karapetyants, they have proposed being granted power for only 100 days, which would be used to reform the electoral system and organize new elections.
“In those elections, the prime ministerial candidate will not have his own political team. Our party will dissolve. The prime minister will not seek any significant appointed or elected public office for the next ten years. Consequently, for the first time in Armenia’s history, there will be fair elections,” Karapetyants added.
Armenia’s regular parliamentary elections are scheduled for June 7, 2026. Nineteen political forces — two alliances and 17 parties — have applied to participate. The official election campaign began on May 8 and will continue through June 5.
