Ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7, the Central Electoral Commission released an informational video explaining how citizens can change their polling station.
Applications to change polling stations can be submitted to the Interior Ministry’s Migration and Citizenship Service until May 26 at 14:00.
Such applications may be submitted by citizens registered in one community but expected to be in another community on election day.
People without registered residence status are also eligible to apply.
Citizens with mobility impairments may also use this option if their polling station is not adapted to their needs. Voters in this category may request a polling station change within the same community or locality as well.
The election campaign, which began on May 8, will continue until June 5. June 6 will be a day of silence, while voting will take place on June 7.
