David Ananyan, a member of the governing council of the Wings of Unity party, responded on Facebook to a post by Civil Contract lawmaker Vahagn Aleksanyan, who had questioned where Arman Tatoyan obtained funds for office rentals and campaign posters.
He stated that every person measures the world according to their own perceptions.
“In response to some people… When a person has spent many years living exclusively according to the logic of everyday instincts, petty interests and opportunistic calculations, it becomes genuinely difficult for them to imagine that other kinds of relationships also exist — relationships based on trust, friendship, values and dedication.
That is why representatives of such circles cannot understand how friends, relatives and like-minded people can voluntarily, with their own resources and faith, stand beside those who have entered the struggle not for a chair, but for the future of the state.
Every person measures the world according to their own perceptions and within the limits of their own lifestyle. And if someone’s political path has been built solely around ideas revolving around the ‘feeding trough,’ then naturally they cannot understand the strength of people united around an idea,” David Ananyan wrote.
The election campaign, which began on May 8, will continue until June 5. June 6 will be observed as a day of silence, while elections will be held on June 7.
