The U.S. Embassy in Armenia has advised that in cases of visa loss or theft, individuals should remain calm and immediately take the necessary steps.
“File a police report in the country where the loss occurred.
Notify the U.S. embassy or consulate where you plan to apply for your next visa.
Complete a new DS-160 application form and schedule a visa interview appointment.
Please remember that a ‘revoked’ visa is not considered a ‘lost’ visa. It is a document canceled by authorities and is no longer valid for travel,” the statement said.
