The Armenian government is ready to ensure all necessary conditions for the effective work of international observers, Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan said during a meeting with a delegation led by Nurlan Seitimov, head of the CIS observer mission and deputy executive secretary.
In this context, Abisoghomonyan stressed the importance of ensuring that observer missions operate transparently and impartially.
He also referred to legislative reforms initiated by the Armenian government aimed at strengthening public trust, as well as improving institutional preparedness and electoral processes.
In the context of Armenia’s upcoming parliamentary elections, the deputy foreign minister reaffirmed the country’s commitment to holding free, fair and transparent elections in line with international standards.
The election campaign, which began on May 8, will continue until June 5. June 6 will be a day of silence, while the elections will be held on June 7.
