Karapetyan dismisses spying accusations

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is concerned because the opposition reveals all of his illegal actions every week, said businessman, philanthropist and Strong Armenia party leader Samvel Karapetyan, responding to Pashinyan’s statement that he is allegedly “a spy for some country.”

“That man makes different statements under different doses. If I am a spy, then I am a spy for the Armenian people,” he said, according to Aysor.am .

Karapetyan added that the opposition is showing the public that “the country has been brought to the edge of an abyss.”

“He thinks this can only be done through espionage. Any person spending one hour can see Nikol Pashinyan’s illegal actions. And as for Nikol Pashinyan, he should decide himself how many countries he is a spy for — at least two of them are unfriendly states,” the opposition figure said.

The election campaign that began on May 8 will continue until June 5. June 6 will be a day of silence, while elections will be held on June 7.
