Law enforcement officers conducted searches at 15 addresses across various districts of Yerevan, uncovering particularly large quantities of suspected drugs and weapons, including hunting rifles.
“Officers discovered a package containing more than one kilogram of a crystal-like substance, crystalline material and a flask with white traces. Suspected morphine, marijuana and substances resembling the drug known as ‘shoko’ were also found, along with a dropper filled with shoko and hunting rifles,” Armenia’s Interior Ministry police said.
Several people have been arrested.
The preliminary investigation into the case is ongoing.
