Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, during a meeting with a delegation led by Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys visiting Armenia, highlighted Lithuania’s active involvement in programs aimed at increasing Armenia’s resilience.
He welcomed the joint declaration on strategic partnership signed by the foreign ministers of the two countries on May 19.
At Budrys’ request, the deputy prime minister also presented the agenda for regional connectivity, as well as Armenia’s vision for sustainable development and peace.
In the context of large-scale reforms being implemented by the Armenian government with European Union support, the sides discussed opportunities for developing sectoral cooperation and expressed readiness to exchange accumulated experience.
Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys also discussed the Armenia-European Union cooperation agenda.
