Another 12 candidates will leave the electoral list of the Against Everyone party, according to a statement released by the party.
Earlier, it became known that 50 candidates from the electoral list of the Against Everyone People’s Party had withdrawn their candidacies.
The party stated that, if successful in the elections, it would form a short-term government or refuse parliamentary mandates.
“As you know, we announced that in case of success we would form a 100-day government, implement the three changes we promised and organize snap elections. If this proves impossible, we do not intend to spend five years as opposition deputies using the votes of people who are against everyone, and we will resign our mandates.
Considering that the process of resigning a large number of mandates is legally lengthy, we have found a legal mechanism to guarantee this in advance. After legal clarifications with the Central Electoral Commission, 50 members of our list have withdrawn, and another 12 will also leave the list. As a result, we will have 25 candidates remaining on the list, guaranteeing that, if necessary, we will be able to implement both our proposed changes and the resignation plan without lengthy delays and within the promised timeframes.
Go to the elections, vote against everyone,” the statement said.
The election campaign, which began on May 8, will continue until June 5. June 6 will be observed as a day of silence, and the elections will take place on June 7.
